Geometry of a Spanish chef

 Hello everyone!

Today we have something interesting for you in "tasting geometry"馃槉

Continuing with our blog today we present the chef Jos茅 Carlos Garc铆a, recognized in 2002 with his first Michelin Star, who exposed the geometric theme in mathematical cuisine for the Rectorate of the University of Malaga, where he organized an exhibition on the occasion of the centenary of the Royal Spanish Mathematical Society, and expressly created twelve dishes from geometric figures resulting in turn from mathematical formulas, These dishes can now be seen in figures such as "Zitrus", which is directly related, in which they achieve the oval shape of this fruit with a spoon, and the second, "Dullo", in which he expressed "that the irregularities of the kitchen should be seen and that it should not be exact.

Thanks to famous chefs and professionals in this area of knowledge, our students can observe the real use of geometry in our daily life, such as in the kitchen, where they can learn to apply this knowledge.

See you soon in the next blog!
